Beijing Xijian Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in October 2021. Building on more than a decade of research in human soft-tissue mechanics characterization at the Laboratory of Biomechanics and Soft-Material Mechanics, Tsinghua University, the company is committed to industrializing original innovations in quantitative biomechanics platform technology and building a globally leading platform for quantitative measurement of human soft-tissue mechanics.

The research group has built a complete methodology and technology system for quantitative biomechanics over more than ten years. The company has also assembled a dedicated clinical research and services team to accelerate the translation of quantitative biomechanics into clinical applications.

To date, the company has closed four financing rounds — Angel, Pre-A, Pre-A+, and Series A — and multiple products have entered industrialization. The team has secured six National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) general program grants and published over 160 SCI papers; cumulative citations exceed 5,400 with a team h-index of 37.

In September 2024, the company's flagship product — the Soft Tissue Biomechanics Quantitative Analyzer — received its NMPA medical-device registration certificate. Within a month of launch, the device was adopted by dozens of leading clinical and professional sports clients, with use cases expanding across orthopedics, rehabilitation, sports medicine, and athletic training.

By 2025, Xijian Technology had established three product lines covering musculoskeletal, skin, and veterinary biomechanics quantification, serving professional medicine, consumer healthcare, and consumer wellness markets.
