The technique was passed down from De Shoutian, who was famous in the capital city at that time, to Gui Zhufeng and Yu Hulu Rongzhi, who further developed the imperial bone setting. In 1911, Yuhulu Heng (also known as Yu Yueru), the son of Yuhulu Rongzhi, founded "Yuheji" in Sanjiao Hutong, Beixinqiao, taking the character "Yu" from the family surname. From then on, Yuheji was officially established, inheriting the imperial bones to this day.
