From November 1st to 3rd,The 6th "Two Lakes Rehabilitation Medicine Forum"The academic annual meetings of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Hunan Medical Association and the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Hubei Medical Association will be held in Changsha, Hunan in 2024.
This conference is jointly hosted by the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Professional Committee of Hunan Medical Association and the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Professional Committee of Hubei Medical Association, and jointly organized by Xiangya Hospital of Central South University and Tongji Hospital affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology,It is a landmark event in the field of rehabilitation medicine in Hunan and Hubei provinces, and also an influential academic exchange platform in the field of rehabilitation medicine in China.
This forum will last for three days, focusing on“Consolidate the foundation of rehabilitation and develop new quality rehabilitation”The conference theme featured three pre conference workshops, two keynote forums, and nine sub venues, attracting over 400 attendees, with up to 120 oral presentations and a total of 180 paper submissions. The conference covers multiple fields including rehabilitation discipline construction, pain and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, rehabilitation assessment and treatment, rehabilitation nursing, rehabilitation research, and rehabilitation education. Professor Zhou Mouwang from Peking University Third Hospital, Professor Yuan Hua from Air Force Medical University Xijing Hospital, and Professor Lu Xiao from Nanjing Medical University First Affiliated Hospital gave wonderful academic presentations at the main venue.
