On November 8th, the 14th National Sports Science Conference, hosted by the Chinese Society of Sports Science and organized by Wuhan Sport University and Huazhong Normal University, was grandly opened in Wuhan.More than 8000 Chinese and foreign representatives from relevant units of the General Administration of Sport of China, national sports research institutes, and higher education institutions, as well as experts and scholars from Belarus, France, and Ecuador, and sports enterprises, attended the conference.

After the opening ceremony, interdisciplinary thematic forum reports and case exchanges, achievement displays, and poster exchanges were warmly launched at Wuhan Sport University and Central China Normal University. among which,Jia Yuqing, a member of the Miao Xin team from the Sports Rehabilitation Group of Peking University Third Hospital, gave a presentation on "Research on the Hardness and Activation Characteristics of the quadriceps Muscle in Patients with Patellofemoral Joint Pain during Different Movements" at the Sports Rehabilitation Branch - Rehabilitation of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Metabolic Diseases and New Rehabilitation Technologies Special Session.

In the report, Teacher Jia pointed out that research on muscle tone is rare at present, mainly because there are very few methods for quantitative evaluation of muscles, especially for single muscle evaluation. However, the soft tissue mechanics quantitative detection equipment developed by Xijian Technology has solved this pain point.The experiment used equipment from Xijian Technology to measure the muscle hardness of the medial oblique muscle and lateral thigh muscle simultaneously in supine resting position, passive stretching position, and distal knee extension position.It has been proven that the quantitative testing instrument for soft tissue mechanics can dynamically track changes in tension during rehabilitation, providing quantitative therapeutic evidence for interventions such as "VMO reinforcement training+VL myofascial relaxation", and assisting in precise rehabilitation.
